DUO 2 modchip problem

I installed a DUO 2 into my v7 ps2,but only original ps2 games are working.I tried psx originals,they don't work,and psx backups as well are not working.Instructions say that DUO 2 modchip is loading a ps2 game by pressing "EJECT",but my ps2 is behaving just like it doesn't have a modchip at all,when I press "EJECT" nothing happens...Help anyone?!

once you insert a ps2 game press the reset button as this will then load the game if it doesn't load 1st time try reseting again. to play psx games you must - insert psx game then turn the ps2 off by reset button (hold for a few seconds the light will then go red). then turn back on again & keep holding the on/reset button until the psx screen comes on (this is the same procedure for DVD's. you don't have to use the eject button for anything (apart from inserting & removing games.) a quick note - my ps2 will not play back up psx games only originals (i have duo 2 also) on some ps2's the laser needs adjustment for psx games to play (i never bothered as i just use my psx to play them.

If what gjl2002 said doesn't work then here are a few things that could be going on:
1. Your power wire is too thin
2. Your ground wire is too thin
3. Your ground wire is too long
4. One of your wires is not connected
5. Your PS2 doesn't like the media your using

Thx both of you guys.Buckup is not loading I tried many times.It must be wires...Will check them all,and thx again
