Hello, this is my first thread and I'm totally new to PS. There's only one game I want to play (grand turismo 4) I'm just wondering if there is any possible way of playing PS2 games on PC? Will that require super powerful PC? (which isn't really my case)Anyone thought of it before?

At the moment there are no ps2 emulators which I know about that are even capable of playing an older ps2 game let alone GT4. Look just wait for a while and somewhere along the line there will be an emulator that is capable of playing commercial games but for now you will just have to use the actual ps2 machine. If you can play ps2 games on pc I reccomend these specs: Pentium 4 2.6 GHZ or higher, 512 DDR RAM or higher, GeForce 4 or higher, ATI Radeon 9000 series or higher.

i wonder, do you mean 2.6GHz opteron or equivalent, or 2.6 GHz northwood based celleron or equivalent?

Well, that's what I though, anyway my pc isn't fast enough­. In my case now it would be cheaper to get a used PS2 than upgrading my pc which might cost a lot.

I have a lack of house accessoires, tv for example. LOL. Is there anyway of using my pc screen for gaming. Someone told i'd need a VGA box or something, but what the heck is that? Sorry I'm really poor in computer knoweledge :D.

Yes the emulator would be able to process information faster and if you have a good graphics card it will process graphics quite well
