hey this probly will go un answered but here it goes i have swap magic a slimline ps2 black not silver and i would like to know how i can play my backup ps1 games on my ps2 i dont mind paying for programs what is the easyist way to do this thanks

You'd need Breaker Pro and a tape and tissue mod or slim tool.

or tape and tissue mod: From Pretense: If the fliptop doesn't work, just give up on it and do a tape and tissue mod. Open up your case again and tape the back sensor (toward the upper left and beneath the hinge part of the lid) with duct tape or even regular Scotch tape (I use several layers to be on the safe side), put the case back together, and stuff a small ball of tissue into the hole for the front sensor (lower right just above the power button).

A. Use Alcohol 120%. Open Alcohol 120%. Insert the disk you wish to create the image from in your CD-ROM drive. Click image making wizard. Set the read speed to 1x, check ignore read errors, fast skip error blocks, set the write Method to DAO/SAO, select your recorder, set the write speed to 4x, and set the datatype to PS2. Click next. Once the image is created, right click it and go to image burning wizard. Set the write speed to 4x, the write method to DAO/SAO, the data type to PS2, and select your recorder, click next.

A. Same method except set the datatype to Playstation.

WELL IVE GOTTA HAND IT TO YOU THAT WAS IMPRESSIVE MATE AND TO THINK I COULD HAVE DONE IT FOR FREE I SPOSE I SHOULD OF LOOKED AROUND A BIT BEFORE BUYING (whoops caps lock ttoo late now) slim tool for 11 bucks you have been a great help one more thing action replay game shark breaker pro all that stuff useless if burnt right even with swap magic?

Oh PAL as in video format lol. I thought that was an insult or something at first. Yes you're correct. A backup of any of the items you mentioned is useless without an original copy of the disc in question or a modchip. Cheers!
