I have a pretty big problem with my games
So far I have tried Shadow of the Colossus and King Kong and both games play fine with full colour and picture.
Mostly the sound is fine too i.e sound effects, music, BUT when there is some speech, that sound messes up. It keep stalling and repeating the same bits a lot and sounding weird, none of it in time to the subtitles.
I was hoping someone had also had this problem and could help

Try burning at a lower speed.

Lower than 1x!! And on Maxell Discs too.
Like I say everything else is fine its just the speech.

He was just trying to help you, don't get all pissy about it.
Things like that ARE usually caused by either your PS2 not liking the media you used,
or your burning speed.
Or it could be that you used +R and your PSTwo does better with -R
If you have 8X speed DVD's, then i say go with 4X burning speed
If you have 4X, then 1X would be what i would set it at.
You may even want to try a different brand of DVD
Philips,Taiyo Yuden,Verbatim Datalife,Ritek,TDK
i always suggest 8X speed DVD-R
