Hello everybody. I'm definitly a newbie. I'm having trouble with playing my backup RE Outbreak online. It was decrypted with DVD Decrypter. I have a PSTwo slim with the built-in network adaptor. It's modded with the Matrix Infinity. I've been reading around and understand that disabling the modchip will allow you to connect to the net. But... if I disable the chip, that means I won't be able to play my backup, but is able to get online. My original RE Outbreak disc is damage (thank god I backed it up). I keep getting DNAS error 402 whenever I try to connect. What does that mean and is there any other way to get around it? I've also heard of, or should I say, read of talks about some type of network access disc, disc inserter, etc... to allow you to get online without disabling mod chip. Is it true and are all those disc neccessary? If so where can I download a copy? Anyways I've been reading and never really found straight answers. I guess you can say I need that step-by-step solution. Well thanks alot to everyone who is willing to take their time to help me out. :P

To play a backup online, you have to patch it with the dnas id from an original.

Ohhhh ok... Yeah I see now. I had no idea you had to go through that much just to make your game available online. I guess that kinda solved it. By the way, would you happen to know of or know anything about flashing your PS2? What exactly is "flashing your PS2" and how do I do it? Thanks alot dude.
