hi, i opened my ps2 once and i accidently ripped the ribbon which is connected to the reset/ power button. so i bought a new one and i fixed it on but it still aint working plzzz helpppp (ps2 version 7)

ohh i c, well maybe the ribbbon is defective? is the power line conected to the main power source.that with thingy ur supposed to attach to the power suply

I guess your best be is to search on google theres a lot of articles and you never know that can fix your ps2 n e way good luck with it

Hey Mano22, both u & i have the same problem. But i think the prob. is the button itself. My console was turned on when my incident happend.
