does any one know how i can put backup games onto my ps2 hard drive.?

i put them in hd advance and it says not a valid ps2 disc

I know with HD Loader if you want to put a backup onto the hard drive (fliptop or Slide Card Req) you 1st have to insert a ORIGINAL PS2 Game with a large toc.... Let the drive read it for a bit till it stops use the fliptop or slide card and insert the backup and then it will read the backup...

i dont know when the disc stop spinning i tried it when it name thng came up but it was still spinning any ideas>

put in the disc with the large TOC don't press install....

let it refresh the toc for a min or so.. then open fliptop or use slide tool and put in the backup once the disc is stopped spinning.. then select install.. then it should go to the name screen...

i didnt press convert then i put the disc in let it spin for 3mins then i tired slide tool i heard a wierd scratching nosie so i stopped any ideas?

Are you using hdloader because that could be the reason your not having any luck coz as far as i know you cant install backups with it. Did you check that link i posted? If you use winhiip you can install your backups on to the Ps2 without using the ps2 console but you have to connect your Ps2 hdd to your PC as a slave and you must also have the game in ISO or any other compatible format but the best thing is it is very very fast compared to the Ps2 at installing games.

I wanted to know, if i downloaded a game from the new bit torrent, Would i be able save it to my ps2 hdd using hdldump?

You need a modchip to use hdloader with backups
