So my ps2 wont spin discs anymore..

Ok, I accidently spilt lemonade (not much at all really)ontop of my ps2 with fliptop (not slimline), Ok so there were a few drops here and there you know, i open the lid, everything looks good except there was like 2 droplets of water on the tape connected to the disc reader / censor.. Ok so i turn the ps2 on, the censor / disc reader works as normal, everything works except the disc will not spin, everything else is in perfect working order..
If the lemonade effected it somehow by landing on that peice of tape.. why isnt the censor dead aswel?

Any help would be gladly appreciated

Ok, i just retested and now it spins, but not fast enough it seems, it doesnt load properly, so then i go into browser and it says "reading disc.." then just "disc read error"... So atleast i know it spinning a little bit..

sounds like you will need professional repair.
It could be a number of things.

I just tested a ps one game and it works perfectly, no other discs will though.
