hey guys, i just wanna know if is it worth buying a 16MB memory card expansion for ps2?, like the "Joytech 16 MB Memory Expansion Station PS2", and is it safe?,

It depends on how many games you play and whether you like to keep your saved games once you've finished playing. They are definately safe and I have one myself and never had a problem with it.

i had a 32MB expansion once that i used for 100 games and never had a problem but then i sold it with my ps2 long time ago. maybe you should get the 64MB one :D i got it for my new slim ps2 for $50

man it sucks, coz u can't fully use the 24MB you can only use its 16MB expansion, I should have just bought a new separate memory card.. guys what do you think?

the extenders only use the magic gates out of the original memory card, only Sony has the ability to make the Magic Gate. this is why you have to have the Sony MC for them to work. all are safe to use.
