HI , I have question about the hd loader file HDL_7.rar

I created a save file to be put on my max drive, to be put on my MC, by using independnce compiler4.1 .

I was able to get it to where launchELF
shows up. but when I got to the hdloader rarfile it says it's not a elf file, and wont' do anything.

Now here is my question/s. I don't have the hard drive in the ps2 yet. is the reason why hd loader , won't even go to the hdloader start up screen, is it because I don't have a hard drive in there? Or is it because I did not change the rar file to a elf file?(I don't know how to do that)

You have to use WinRAR to unzip the file then do it.
