anybody there who can help me with my ps2. i have a 50001 modded ps2 for about a year now,problem started just yesterday..any game i put even original or backed up dvdr games,it just go to the "no data" screen. i tried installing the lens on my friends ps2 & the lens works no prob. but when i return it to my unit..it still has the "no data" screen problem. pleaseeeee heeelllppp!!!!!
could be your laser, could be the driver chip. and depending on the version console and the laser type they may or may not be interchangable, so swapping your friends in wont tell you that your's is good or bad. did you put your laser in his/hers????
yes,i tried my laser on my friends unit & it works. but when i put his lens on my unit,it still goes to the "no data" screen.i think my boards busted. my ps2 is not modified by the way. anyway,thanks for replying. :)
