hmm....
i checked that Action Replay Max has 2 bin files (EU_CODELIST.BIN & US_CODELIST.BIN) where all the codes are saved on it's disc.

I was wondering if we could edit those two bin files to manually put the new codes back in the cd.

I had downloaded an ISO of AC Max,which is working fine,so even after editing the AC Max (with ISO Buster) and burning the edited cd back...it should be any problem on running it.

Only question now is... how to edit those two bin files....anyone has any ideas ??

Open them in a text editor and then try to find what values need to be changed...

You can download the latest codelist from http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/2/289279 (has a link) then rename the file to EU_CODELIST.BIN or US_CODELIST.BIN if its not, then replace the current codelist in the RES/CODELIST folder of your disc with the new one. But I think you can only update either EU or US not both for some reason. Now just reburn it and it should have all the latest codes. Got this info from someones guide in there profile page but cant remember who.

I have followed your guide and I can not get the newest NTSC codelist that was released to load from the cd. The original pressed codelist works fine but any newer codelists just erases the list completely. Can you make one with the newest US codelist and be able to load cheats for, say, NFS: Most Wanted or MK: Shaolin Monks, from the disc? Thank you.
