this past month my kids broke two games, so i decided to make back ups. I copyed the disc (iso) then burnt it with nero, every thing seemed fine until i put the disc in my ps2 it came up please insert a compatiable disc or something what did i do wrong? PAL version.

well first off we need to know how you modified your PS2 to
play back ups? (Swap Magic & fliptop, or modchip)

also some key things would be what brand, speed and type media that you used to burn them on (Philips 8X DVD-R)

and what speed you burned the disc at with Nero, and what Nero option you use to burn it.

and what games you are trying to back up.

i know that is a lot of questions, but simply saying
"my game won't work" is just not enough information to base a solution on. But with the above information i am sure someone will be able to get it solved for you. We all know how kids can be, discs are like little silver frisbee's :)

Ok,my ps2 isnt modified i used dvd burn image to disc option speed x2 not to sure of the name of my burner DLITE i think. Sony DVD-RW 2X. MEDAL OF HONOUR.

Without modification, backups won't work.
Try reading paddymail's backup guide for more info, the link is in my sig.

Sorry mate, you cant play any backups without mods, you can be cheap and get "swapmagic" it lets you swap your backup wit swap software, tricks your ps2 into loading tha game, or you can get a pro to put in a modchip, all you do is play the game like you normally would,
