V13 not booting originals but booting backups via swap magic Oo

Hey, I got a v13 moded qith th straw mod and swap magic
swap magic and game backups(cd or dvd) work fine but when i wanna play originals like xenosaga or devil may cry, past the "Playstation 2" logo the console will start making cackling noises.

I booted up xenosaga with the lid open (like when i boot up swap magic) and noticed that the laser es on the edge of the rail an is still trying to go further while making the noises.

Any ideas on what's wrong?

Clean the lense, if that doesnt help, you might need a new laser, sometimes the laser does move out of place, but the ps2 automatically should move it back to its original position, when you turn the slimline of where does the ps2 laser end up, take a pic and post it, if you want a quick reply.
