Right I have a Swap Magic 3.6 with Flip top cover on my slim ps2, and I am having some trouble with my games.
I used Alcohol to copy NFS:MW to my comp then burnt it onto a Maxell 8X and when I play it the game is way too slow to play with regular freezing.
So I tried again but instead I burnt with ImgBurn at 2.4X then again at 4x and it was pretty much the same.
Other games I have burnt with ImgBurn are alright and are playable (King Kong, Burnout Revenge) but then others I tried are also slow (The Sims 2, Shadow of the Colossus, Tony Hawks American Wasteland)

Do you have any suggestions on how I can make sure my games dont do this?
I've wasted like 15 discs trying things and am getting annoyed now. Oh I also don't have any cash so I doubt buying better media will be an option right now.

I'm not sure if you guys can help me but thanks a lot in advance anyway.

I have always used DVD Decrypter for burning iso`s.i burn them at 4 speed and rarely have i had a problem :)
