ps2 black screen

I have a ps2 scph#39001 it is a v7 and i opened the ps2 to clean it put everything back together and now it wont work. First of all it used to have the DISC READ ERROR MESSAGE and now it doesnt there is just a black screen and the audio/video also doesnt work the eject button doesnt light up or eject the cd tray so what should i do.I dont know if this is going to helpbut i have a magic 3.1 modchip. please help me.

how far did you 'take it apart' ?? if you removed the power supply, make sure you plugged the black/white wire back onto it and that the pins are aligned coming form the motherboard into the power supply socket.

o you mean the wires that go from the power switch to power supply, yes that is connected. dome guy said that i might need an LA / BA chip is it true please help me

the two coming from the rocker switch and where line (wall plug) power comes in.

guess we posted that at the same time.........

nobody can just guess whats wrong, you may have a blown fuse, you can only tell by troubleshooting the console, anyone making wild ass guesses like that do not need to be working on your console.
