Ok I have been reading about putting a hard drive in your PS2 to install games on, but I want to know is if you can just use the hard drive as a memory card or is it only for putting games on.

Just for games, but if you have a dms4 pro chip I think that you can save games

you can transfer save files back and forth from the memory card to the HDD (or even the USB) but you can not save directly to the HDD.

I had the same question. Is this something you can do from within the ToxicOS? I didn't see it in my bit of messing around within it. Any help or lamer step-by-step would rock my world ;) Thanks!

load the toxic megapack or just the MC manager elf and use it to transfer. it's pretty self explanatory after you launch the elf.

download the megapack and burn it to disk (step by step instructions included in the zip files, can be downloaded from DMS3 forums), install the megapack and when you do in Toxic OS on the Applications tab you'll see all the elfs, select the memory card manager and execute, it's really no harder then that.
