was told copyed ps1 games can play on a chipped ps2 but tryed and get red screen. can copyed ps1 games be played or not its just i have a disabiled son who likes to play certurn copyed ps1 games

all help would be greatfull

Hi, what type of Modchip do you have in your console, with some chips you have to press different buttons to make it read different games or dvd's, like the old messiah you had to hold the reset (power) button in till the blue eject light came on for getting the ps into ps1 mode. If you can tell me the modchip I might be able to help more but for now just try that or hold different buttons down on the pad.
