Ok, with HDAdvance 2.0, there was only Mode 1, 2 and 3....when i popped in my new HD Advance 3 and was looking at the options for games...they added a lot more, and got completely rid of the Mode 1 and 2 and 3 thing....

How do I get one to work if it asks for a mode?It is Ratchet and Clank I am trying to get to work, but it would be good to know what i need for other games...I forget all the other options it gives me, but i do remember time/date fix 2 and 3 are on the list...

Those do not help me at all... They only state whether I need mode 1-mode 3 enabled or not. Like I said, HDAdvance 3.0 gets rid of this and adds more options...

Well there's a search button that could help you. Ps2nfo.com and PS2hd.com are full of info on HD Advance. There's plenty of info about it out there, if you're not too lazy to search.

Come on, will someone please help me out? What are the different modes used for. I know a ton of you use HDAdvance 3.0, so why cant one of the novices with it explain the different mode options compared to 2.0...

The very first mode is mode 1 the second one down is mode 2 and so on through to mode either 6 or 8 cant remember how many there are.

oh, well is there any site that tells u whether to use mode 4-8? because i only find some with Modes 1-3

i dont think the other modes are used that often any compatability chart should have them if they are needed.
