Ok, after a lot of googling and foreign language help files, I am here to beg for newbie abuse and hopefully some help ;)

How can I put divx files onto my ps2 formatted hdd to watch them on the tv with my ps2?

I have a DMS4 ProSE, ToxicOS 0.4, and the Toxic Megapack installed.

I can follow instructions easily, just need a kick in the right direction. Would I take my divx files, ISO them, and pop them on the drive with WinHIIP or something? Just trying to avoid having to use CDrs as my PS2 is a 30001 and god only knows how much laser life is left.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Ge tan ELF called SMS 1.5 its a media player that plays mp3 and mpeg4 video. Then get a program called PFSexplorer and with your ps2 HDD installed as a slave drive load it up its in portugeuse but its site has a translation. Use it to add your DivX files onto the HDD. load up SMS and choose the partition your files are on and it should play.

You wouldn't happen to know that site offhand would you? I googled PFSexplorer and it returned a single entry of a messageboard.

Thanks.
