Hi. I'm having a little trouble with my PS2 and hopefully someone here can clue me in.

I modded my slim v13 PS2 in December with a DMS4 Lite in December and it has been working flawlessly until yesterday. I pushed the power button and the power LED changed from red to green, stayed green for half a second, then went back red again. The disc didn't spin and i got no vide output during this time. I unplugged the unit and let it sit for 10min, plugged it back in and got the same results.

Does anyone have any ideas what direction I should be looking in? I'd like to have some sort of idea what I should be looking for before I crack it open again. Thanks in advance.

Look for broken connections or shorts, if nothing works, revome the chip if possible and see if it works, just double check all the wiring, and the fuses on the ps2 motherboard

I actually don't know but I am going to give some advice. Open the slimline and check for any shorted traces or that sort of stuff around the recently modded area. Maybe a bad sodering job or something. It's worth a shot and can't hurt aslong as you dont have it plugged in and drop liquids all over it.
