i need to find a modchip installer because i have no idea on installing a modchip on my slim ps2 v12.i was thinking about buying a modchip which is http://www.modchip.ca/install/ps2/chipmod/chipmodimages/chipmodh2...
but i don't know how to put it it on. ex:the modchip it says w. and on the ps2 motherboard it says w. so what should i do to connect it should i glue it or what.can somebody please help me.and if i buy it does it come with the wires or i have to buy it apart??

I'm no expert but it is highly UNrecommended that you use ne thing like glue. What you'll need is a soldering iron and a very high quality leads/cables/wires (whatever you call them). Do a google search on wires for PS2 soldering and it should bring up quite a few results.
PS Don't trust ebay for elctrical equipment esp. when they say high quality as who wants to put low quality tieing to their product.

You could try HDLoader. With the slimline, you would need HD Advanced I believe and an external hard drive. HD Advanced formats the hard drive so that it can read it and then you copy your games on the HD and walah. Games load much faster of a hard drive, but some and I only mean some games don't work. Look on google for the game compatability list.

And may I add, it is very easy to install for the not so suavey personel and it is great for the on the go gamer

Or go for what I have swap magic 3.6 £20 with a fliptop and havn't had a single playback issue with 50 backups! :)

My recommendation is that you order a pre-modified console from a trustworthy installer.

I have dealt with xmodd twice and they have come through each time. Great customer service, and they get it to you in a reasonable time frame.
