I have a PS2 with Magic V mod installed. It worked perfectly for about two months. After playing for the day, I went to play the next day and the game wouldn't load. So I tried some other disks and none of them would load either (that includes backups, dvds, original games, everything). I opened up the ps2 and found nothing different at all (wires were perfectly in place, nothing loose). When loading the disks it just goes straight the browser/configuration screen. No error screens or anything. I have no clue what is going on or why it would suddenly just do what it's doing.

I didn't see anything wrong with it. I took a look at it a couple times but nothing.

probably your laser modchips are renowned for cooking lasers in ps2's

So even if I took the modchip out it probably wouldn't do anything since the laser is burned out correct?

Yep Ther is a extra modual available to protect your laser If you decide to repair it

Hi,

I have very cippy problem. My ps2 loads games but most of the times it gose to the browser screen. when change my digonis setting i need to open my tray change to digonis and close it then cd start running play station logo comes game start loading thats all. i dont know what happend. i have armax cheat cd when i run that it works fine and. while running cd unknown voice comes from play station like lense have proble. but how come then armax cd works what could have gone wrong. pls advise.
