Is it just me or has anyone else found that when updating a code list either via USB flash drive or PS2 network connection, the screen just crashes at the last minute and can never update.

analysing the previously empty memory card produces a file called "corrupt data".

i have tried 3 memory cards all to same effect. i have a messiah chipped ps2.

any theories?

Wow, At least someone else had the same thing as me, but mine said kb=??????, than it said formated lol. First save all your save onto one memory card, than format the other 2, just back up AR MAX EVO with the cheats alreaddy. Check my sig for more in fo (the guides)

yeh i managed to fix it by deleting all max evo data from my mem card, then updating. so in essance u never truely "update".

seems like the max evo's ability to update is not great and errors arising from corrupt data is common.
