Hello! I have a ps2 game downloading on my pc right now its a rar.Now my question is after i'm donwnloading and ziping it do i just burn dvd.r? I'm using nero-startsmart...1 more thing do i burn it as a movie or data? i was reading the forums if there is a subject about this can someone give me the link please!

get and install Winrar
Right click on the first rar file like game.001 and choose
"extract to" from the drop down option.
Make a folder and extract the files there
after extracted you should have an ISO file
Use Nero Startsmart and under the DVD options go to the image burning option that looks like a disc with a match on fire
use that to burn the ISO to a good quality 8X DVD-R at 4X speed

there are a lot of topics like these around that are really helpful and i am thankful, but. when i extract my rar file *naruto 3 game for ps2* all i get is a folder with nothing with the extension "whatever".001

usually a file like game.001 is the rar file.
have you tried extracting that one?

If you have a site that can store pictures then take a before and after screen shot and post it here. Seeing the files will give poeple a much better idea of what you are dealing with.

In case you don't know how to do screenshots.
1. bring the folder with the game up on your desktop and make sure it is full sized to be easier to see.
2. press the print screen button on your keyboard
3. go to start->all programs->applications->MS Paint and open up MS Paint
4. once it is open hold control and press "V" key
5. now you should see that MS Paint has a picture of what was on your desktop. Go to File->save as-> and choose to save it as a Jpeg file
6. now upload that picture to the web on any free picture storage site like photobucket.
7. once it is uploaded enlarge the picture by clicking on it, when it is full screen right click on it and choose properties, then hold the left mouse button and drag it over the whole URL Address so it is highlighted and then right click on the highlighted area and choose copy.
8. then come here and use an image tag to post it
9. [ img]adress of the image[/ img]
do not use any spaces like i just did. i had to do that so that i could show you what the tag looks like.

yea i think i got my answer...it seems i extracted to far. i extracted one and i got the a rar which turned out to be an iso. so i've read, the reason that it looks like rar is because iso's and rar's are related. true?. so i justed burned that so hopefully it works.do you think it'll work?
