Hello, I was wondering which cheat devices work. For example: I just bought GS2 1.1 and it unfortunately does not work because it auto ejects. I was looking into buyin AR Max Evo, or another version of GS2 Which ones work for the swap trick?

Gameshark, Codebreaker, an AR Max should all work.
There is just a specific process to doing it.
try this method and see if it works for you.
you will need Swap Magic
DVDLoader
you burn the DVDLoader to a DVD
and your AR Max disc of course
Note: if you are loading a CD game or have an older V4 or below PS2 you may need to use CDLoader instead of DVDLoader, and you may need to use the CD version of Swap Magic and not the DVD version.

1. Put in your AR Max disc and when it loads up choose expert mode. Go down the list and choose your game and start with codes as you normally would.

2. When the AR Max asks for the disc PRESS EJECT and put in your Swap Magic DVD

3. When the Swap Magic asks for a disc SWAP using your slidecard or fliptop for the DVDLoader disc

4. When DVDLoader tells you to swap using EA method you PRESS EJECT and put your Swap Magic DVD back in

5. When Swap Magic asks for a disc SWAP using your slidecard or fliptop.

This should load your back up games with the cheat codes, enjoy

or one of these methods. Just substitute the AR Max part by manually loading codes with Gameshark instead

Here is how it should be done:

1) Boot Ar Max
2) Pick codes
3) Press eject and insert Swap magic
4) Push X
5) Insert DVD Loader
6) Press X
7) Swap for backup at DVD loader screen

Here is how I heard of others doing it:

1) Boot the PS2 with AR
2) Go in expert mode
3) Select game and codes
4) Eject the AR disk when asked to insert game disk
5) Insert swap magic media
6) When swap magic screen load up open flip top or use slide card and insert backup
7) Press the X to start game
