ok guys hers the deal i have a ps2 i bought used it has the parental control lock on...and i nor the guy who owned it before me has a clue what the code is...is their any way to crack/hack/erase this thing off so i dont have to worrie about it any more...thanks in advance for any help you can give me

i bought mine used and had the same problem but i found out the code was 12345 or something like that just from guessing try just guessing if you dont know the code type in 11111 and 22222 and etc and then try123456

thanx but i have tried that i have kept a list and gone through about 300 different number combinations...i found out that it is probaly a real code cause it was the dudes room mates originaly and they have kids he doesnt talk to them any more either but he said they had every thing parental locked like cable and dvd player so it is more then likely an actuall code...i am looking for a way to break maybe by hooking up to my computer and going to the memory and erasing or putting somekind of hack program on the memeroy card or a disc...if their is anything that can be doen other then guessing plz some one help fill me in

when it asks to input the code, press select, and that will bring up the delete code, and the delete code is 7444 and then you can enter whatever code you want! - shoobeedoodoo - cd rom guide forums
