Hi, i have a moded PS2 and Socom III no matter what i tried The Servers find out the chip (MARS II MA 302) i already remove it and i can play online normaly but i had some games that i wanted to play and required the chip. So i want to play again online but i dont want to remove the solder from the ribbons so i was thinking to remove just the chip from the ribbons and leave the ribbons. Is it safe to do that?

NO don't do that. You will wreck your ps2.
