my friend uses swap magic, but he doesnt need to use the slide card...he told me he has a plug in mod mod...not sure if he meant in the back of ps2 or what...

cant ask him now that he's moved away

is there anything like this?

There is, but you run the risk of blowing fuses in your ps2 when using it. And it only works with certain versions of ps2s.

so really...your better off using the slide card...lol. i heard some bad stuff bout teh flip top too...but then again i heard some good stuf....depepnds where you get it i guess

I've got a fliptop, and as long as you install it right, its really hard to mess up your ps2.

yeah i guess it depends how you install it n stuff...i heard some bad stuff about mod chips too....but from reading on here i found out that people use them all the time and it depepnds on how you install it.

the pnp mod he is talking about is not really a modchip, you still need to use swap magic with it (and ive read many horror stories about them).
