hi, I was just wondering if someone could tell me what the difference between a PAL and NTSC version of the PS2 is

it would be the tv signal NTSC is for north america and japan and some other asian countries PAL is for uk/england and most of europe
and austrailia.

I live in north america and my PS2 is a 39003, and it says PAL, does that mean I have a european PS2?
