Hi. My ps2 v9 SCPH 50001 3c has no audio or video output. The power, reset and eject functions are still working. My monitor auto shuts off when it detects no signal from the video in, but it detects output from the ps2 but it is only pure black. By the way It has a modchip installed. Please help me with this problem. Thank you.

ur modchip could have the GND wire loose. If you are not sure what is wrong with the ps2, i suggest u try removing the modchip and see if it works. If it does, then its the modchip. My guess is the GND or power wire.

I have many problems like this when the GND wire isnt working correctly or when the wire is too long.

I removed the modchip and still the same problem. I noticed that previous owner had it modded and The modder connected the Y node at the wrong pin of the ps2, he connected it to the next blank pin to the right.
