Alright...
I had to join these forums cause I needed some answers and some help.

One thread here I stumbled upon some time ago (forgot what the title was) anabled me to be able to rip music out of games that used the .afs format.

Now here's teh killer.

I have a couple of games that I want to rip from. Well..about 3:
We Love Katamari
Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner (there is a song that is not present on the soundtrack that I want to rip from this game.
Musashi Samurai Legend

eh...and from browsing, they are TOTALLY different file formats than that of the familiar .afs.
And thus, I don't have any tools (or know about any) that would let me unpack anything from the DVD games in order to rip from then (especially since it looks like the Musashi game is HEAVILY encoded to bits).

Can someone help a poor brotha out??

That must've been the guide I wrote lol. I don't know if I can be of any help. but what are the file extensions you get? The last 3 characters after the period. Like .mp3 .wav .afs

NONE of the games have any of the mentioned file extensions (reason why I'm asking here).

Musashi Samurai Legend is the worst offender of the bunch cause from how the disk is being read, it looks as if there isn't ANYTHING on it.
The other games seem to have everything stuffed in .bin files, so I don't know what to do from there.

.mp3 .wav and .wmv were just an example to help you out. So besides the .bin file, what else is there?

We Love Katamari: most .BIN files
Musashi Samurai Legend: there is a BIN folder, but for some reason, all of the files there can't be seen (the whole game cannot be taking up 1.5GB for nuttin..)
Zone of the Enders 2nd Runner: there is a folder called ZOE2, but all the file extensions there are DAT files.

now ya see my problem.
There any other programs out there that can help me rip the hell out of em?

This works with Dance Dance Revolution games. But I don't know how to work it. It has something to do with CMD.

1) Download vb2rip (http://www.neillcorlett.com/vb2rip/)
2) *Extract the files to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator
3) Copy either STR.BIN or FILEDATA.BIN to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator
4) In the Start Menu go to Run and type in "cmd" and click OK
5) Now it will open a command prompt window, it should already give you C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator> now all you need to do is type the rest out. It should look like this.

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator> vb2rip str.bin -fmt vb2

* Replace Administrator with whatever your user name on Windows XP is.
