I think my lens is starting to fade. Ive been playing copies on it for about 2 weeks and having trouble reading the disc. Its even doing this with Originals.

Is there anyway i could fix this. I know cleaning the lens but im not very experted at that.

Is there anywhere i can send my ps2 to get this fixed at a cheap price.

what kinda media are you using for backups? and ehat version ps2 do you have?

im using Verbatim. my ps2 version is SCPH-30003.

Its nothing to do with the media as my mate said to use them and he hasnt had NO problem with his and hes had his for about 2 years.

Yea dude I've been useing verbatime for the past year and my ps2 is fine.

You could take it to your local Game Heaven and get it repaired for cheap.

Im thinking og getting a brand new laser

£35 on ebay. I may just consider that. This way it should work.

Will it be cheaper in shops to get it repaired?
