Hi every body i just bought the hd advance 3.0 for ps2 , a 80 gb hard drive and i follow all and every detail given in the manual in diferent web pages i found ( almost say the same thing) and didnt work, i install the hd to my ps2 with An official Sony PS2 network adapter .
And yes i as all the web pages say ----Congratulations, you have successfully connected a hard disk drive to your PS2!----

Then what nobody says nothing, i turn on my ps2 and my tv monitor says Sony computer entertaiment (after that sperms flying in the screen and disapeir )then says Play station 2 , and then the screen says

hdadvance Server

PLease wait , module loading

1) efault ipconfig.dat
2) ip address 1921681 110
3) sub net mask 255 255 255 0
4) gateway 192 168 1 1
ready

So i dont know what to do next, also only once the screen appear with the logo hdadvance 3.0 and then it said no hardware found, but i dont get it.

So please help me, and thanks for having this site.

What type of hdd do you have? Check also the setting for the hdd is it "master"?
