Yeah, Good Idea.
Most desktops I've seen have a type of calendar thing? Also, most of the desktops seem to be different from that of a standard MS XP Desktop. Any good programs out there (I'm using StyleXP myself)

@zippyd - how stable are those ?, i used something donkeys years ago (maybe it was called window blinds or stardock, honestly can't remember exactly), i guess theyre pretty stable nowadays

I've yet to run into any issues yet. Windows blinds has a free version but it is a bit restricted.....
1) customizations are limited
2) nag screen a boot up to buy the full version (click continue and it goes away until next boot....)

Off-topic sorry, but how do you totally change the face of the taskbar ? I wanna change mine and i dont want a prgram like Samurise that changes other stuff too. If there's a guide to doing it without a prgram please tell me :(
