Halo 3 was not schedueled to launch at the same time as the PS3. That was just something stupid Bill Gates said to attract attention.
Halo 3 will be released in November. I put my bets on the 7th or 17th of Novemeber.

I say 7th, but i read in the Ghosts of Onyx book that a Covenant Civil War has taken place between the Elites And brutes, any opinions as to whetther this will play into Halo 3?

Yes that is correct.
However the elites etc have not officially allied with the humans. Only humans on Delta halo have allied with the elites etc.
Therefore we will probably see some fighting in Halo 3 between elites and humans on Earth.

my guess is that arbiter and the allied humans/covenant will go to high charity because the arbiter may want to seek vengeance against the prophets and correct me if Im wrong but the forces on delta Halo dont know whats happenend on high charity...and bam! Arbiter saves cortanna they stop the flood from going to earth and meet up with the Master Chief. (Yeah yeah yeah I know...T4spartan, youve said this before, but oh well)

what about hijacking three banshees in a row (IN MIDAIR, one on top of another), doing the Great Banshee switch with a friend, some banshee juggling, and then another hijack.

Isn't it that boarding a prophet chair and duking it out with him is the fastest way to kill him?
I bet instead of skulls, there will be human and covenant helmets that make you look different in coop or somethingerr...
It would be cool if they found out that the flood is just a bad case of the chicken pox.

i personally think that in h3 there will be a "MAC Gun" (exactly the same idea as in the new mombasa scarab gun plasma rifle) except it is a BR or SL that shoots a MAC heavy round
NOW HOW COOL WOULD THAT BE?

Have you seen how big a mac gun is? let alone how big a round is?
The recoil would probably kill you.

A MAC Canon...now thats the gun to use, but way to big, there only used in ships and space stations. But having one as an ester egg does sound like a good idea. A MAC round...now those babies could level an entire city.
