EA is now giving away the 2008 horror shooter classic Dead Space for free. The offer is available only for limited time, but once you download the game, it will remain free forever. So, no gotchas there, other than the fact that you need to have an account with Origin in order to get the game. You can download Dead Space from here. [ read the full article ]

Frankly, I'd pirate this before downloading through Origin, even if I wanted the game (which I don't). EA can go fornicate themselves.
