So basically it's still car transport but now it can transport a small tram too? Something tells me they were having trouble getting approval to tear up the whole city to make it easier for people who own Teslas to bypass the peasants. That's probably why the tram looks so rushed.

Still, it's not the worst idea. In some parts of LA it seems faster to walk than drive...and somehow the bus takes 4x longer than driving. If it can turn an hour commute into 5 minutes then people just might accept the disruption of construction.

Now...an open tram where people stand while moving at 200km/hr without hand holds or anything...they need to work on that a little bit.
