Hi
Just started backing up my ps2 games (I have kids) and so far had no problems at all. However Colin Mcrae Rally 3 (DVD), I just can?t backup.
Basically I have tried the following software:-
Record Now~
Nero
Alcohol 120%
The above software reads the DVD disk to 71% and then just stays there.
What am I doing wrong, do I need different software for this game?
Any help would be appreciated.

Something is wrong with the game. is it scratched or dirty? I backed it up with no problems.
V9 PS2, flip top, SMD, DVDLoader
Pioneer 107, ritek g05
DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, Nero |

Think you might have a point there mate. I cleaned the DVD, got all the food & stuff off, but still doesn't work.
But looking at the DVD closer there seems to be quite a deep scratch on it, so that might be the problem.
The only niggle I have is that the original still works in my PS2.

the only thing you can try is clean it a little more and see if it works.
