Hi, I've been using DVD Decryptor to back up DVD's that are under 4.7 to have them whole. I've used DVD Shrink to make the video's fit onto DVD-R's. Now I want to be able to either use the VOB files from an extract using DVD Shrink to then convert somehow to a Windows Media file acceptable for my Dell Pocket PC. I've used DVD2AVI with limited success because I experience audio sync problems. Is this because of the demuxed video and audio files that are compressed differently and start to drift exponentially? When I use DVD2AVI, I select the portion of movie, set Audio to .WAV and try every possible codec so that the video and audio will sync. Instead of SAVE AS AVI, I've tried saving project, and then using other software (which is best for this?) to join the audio and video so that I can create a compressed 320 x240 version of a backed up DVD? I've also experimented with Windows Media Encoder 9 and M2 Edit, but they tend to crash on my computer. Any ideas? I would love to get a full length movie down to under 512 MB at 320 x 240! thanks!!
