HDLoader and Twisted Metal: Black DVD/USA

Did anyone get the Twisted Metal: Black (not ONLINE) to work with HDLoader?
I tried and it installs and loads fine. But, when I tried to quit from a game to the main menu, it goes dark on the screen. PS2 won't even reset, I had to trun it off/on maunally.

If someone has got it to work, please mention if it's the 'GREATEST HITS' version (RED at the bottom of the disc) or regular (black instead of red) DVD Disc, also if any mode enabled.
