Nintendo is targeting websites that distribute ROM copies of its classic video games from legacy platforms with lawsuits. The Japanese gamemaker filed legal action recently in Arizona, targeting LoveRetro and LoveRoms, which offered ROMs of classic games from Sega, Sony, and Atari. Haven't the copyrights for all of the old classic Nintendo Entertainment System games expired?

Not the Nintendo-owned ones; they are still making sequels to some of those old NES games...and reselling the original games over and over again.

If someone actually wants roms, then this won't change much. It's just Nintendo being loud to remind people that they made good games once.

yea having the roms on pc or game system is nice!
