Microsoft has confirmed that the next major update for the Windows 10 operating system will arrive in October this year. This is a month later than had been predicted, which isn't so bad. GAAHHH...I have to re-register half my software every time they do one of these...and I'm sure corporate security guys are just going to love a clipboard that uploads everything to external servers.

These things act like major service packs...but you don't need that for a web browser update, a theme, and some spyware. I bet I could accomplish all that without a restart in under 5 minutes...and without giving my system a new signature that makes a bunch of software invalid.

It must be nice to be a monopoly...you can do whatever you like for no reason at all!
