I have a Mad Dog Dominator drive which I brought because of the price. It is NEC 2500A and the firmware is 1.06. It writes DVD±R at 8X (11 MB/Sec.) and DVD±RW at 4X (5.5 MB/Sec.) I used Memorex 4X DVD+R's that were manufactured by RicoJpn and they worked great. I want to buy DVD-R's and I need to know what disk brand and disk speed would be best to burn with my drive and then play in my Panasonic DVD CP67 stand alone player. Thanks in advance.

When going for -R I would recommend Ritek RiDATA which can be found for good prices at either newegg. com or meritline.com :)
