Earlier this week, Samsung raised eyebrows by sharing a video instructing users of its smart TVs to run virus scans on them regularly. This is why my 42" Sony Bravia "dumb" TV is great. No, I do NOT need a "smart TV"; it's already connected to an HTPC, FFS. MY TV cannot be infected, nor does it have a "boot up" period when turned on =).
