How fast should you burn your ps2 games? I know most ppl on this board advise to burn slow. Why is that? I was wondering if anyone had any success burning, regularly, at a higher speed (4x?).

In specific, I am wondering what ppl w/ DVD+R media burn at (b/c i have a DVD+R burner as well) and what type of media they use. Thnx.

I burn all my backups at 4x never had a problem. I use Verbatim Datalife DVD-R's. The DVD+R's should work too. I believe as long as you have good quality media 4x works fine. If you do run into problems with a certain game, like slow, choppy gameplay then try re-burning at 1x or 2x, that usually fixes it. Hope this helps.
