I hope this is the right place for this,



A movies i downloaded has really poor sound and the picture has little squares coming up on the screen could this be the codec that i am using.

Xvid
AC3 filter
Divx

I have gspot and it says everything is fine, and on my other system it is. But on every other system no good.

How could i find out what codecs i have loaded?

What could be the issue?

Download AviCodec and check it with that!

Have you installed any codec packs in the past? And what player are you trying to play the file in?
