Hi--I have been watching this forum for several weeks and want to thank all contributors for teaching me quite a bit. I originally was using DVDx copy with ripper to copy my DVD collection--since finding this forum, I have been using DVD Shrink to compress and DVD Decryptor to burn--I made a file on my desktop where all the movies reside until I burn them--then I delete them from my computer--this works beautifully--However--yesterday I wanted to make a backup of "An Ideal Husband" DVD and because it was a fairly small file (4.1 gigs) I thought I would not use DVD Shrink--just Decryptor--which I did--but now, I can't seem to find the movie on my computer--so, I guess the question is--where does Decryptor put the file? I have tried searching key words, finally gave up and did it with Shrink then Decryptor to burn--found easily, went right to folder I made as an ISO file--but I know the one I can't find is a VIDEO_TS file but still can't find it! Making me crazy and I hope someone here can help--I know this is probably a stupid question but where the heck is the file!??
Thanks for any advise you can give--

Hi,

Have you tried popping in the "The Ideal Husband" disc in again and looking at the destination folder that Decrypter lists in the main window? That may help.

Hi Nephilim--
Thank you so much--I found the folder where Decryptor put it (C:\IDEALHUS\VIDEO_TS\)and deleted it as I wanted to. I appreciate your help--Also I just downloaded the trial version of Nero 6 Ultra --I want to try it only because I see that many others in this forum use it to burn instead of Decryptor--must have advantages I have yet to learn--probably will need help again soon--great site--I hope to be able to help others soon-

That's exactly what makes our site so enjoyable :)

Nero6 is indeed a very good program and well worth a look-see. One of the neat features of the Ultra version is a compression/burning program called Recode2 which I believe was written by the same brilliant individual that wrote DVD Shrink. Sadly Recode won't function in the trial version but it a very nice app that does a great job.
