nero 6 fails in last 10% of burning

I've been useing DVD Shrink 3.2 and Nero 6 for a while now to copy DVD's and well, today i had to go out and buy some more dvd+r's. I got a 50 pack of HP dvd's. I burned one copy successfully and now every time that i try to burn a disc with these HP dvd's it gets to about 93% and i get the message, Burn process failed at 4X..." one time it got to 100% and gave me the message. I've tried burning at 2.4x but still doesn't finish. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
