Recombining a split DVD?

Hey there.

Have one DVD that was ripped into two. Now, sure enough the original got hosed (damn dog :P)

Anyway, is there a way to reunite a movie only DVD with the "everything else" DVD that completes the package, so I can then compress the whole mess as one unit? Please help, this movie's long out of print!
